Gaseous Dust Plugs Up Furnace

Posted by Tom Hobson on Sep 25, 2015 2:01:04 PM

A company in New York State had a problem exhausting gaseous dust matter. The vent the company was using would frequently plug and had to be replaced. The company needed a way to increase the life of the piping while preventing the release of dust and gases. The company turned to Aerodyne for its dust control issues.

After consulting with the company Dan suggested that the company use Aerodyne’s GPC Dust Collector. The GPC Dust Collector is perfect fix to this company’s problem due to the its ability to effectively collect dust and prevent plug ups and leaks. Furthermore the GPC Dust Collector’s small size makes it easy to solve dust collecting problems for plants and workshops with limited floor space or overhead clearance. The small size of the GPC dust collector makes it an ideal solution due to the fact that it can easily be placed off the current piping system.

The GPC dust collector is a compact high efficiency cyclone dust collector. It has several distinct advantages over common high-efficiency cyclone dust collectors. The spiral inlet of the GPC directs the dirty gas stream toward the ground plate and hopper of the collector. Coupled with the compact size of the collectors, this gives the GPC the ability to be installed horizontally with virtually no effect on the collection efficiency.
